Parent Survey On Cell Phones

The Hawaii State Department of Education is inviting families across the state to participate in a short survey about cell phone use in schools. As a parent or guardian, your perspective is crucial in helping us understand how these devices may affect students’ learning experiences.

Likelike State Assessment Testing Schedule
Our 3rd, 4th and 5th graders will be taking the Smarter Balanced English Language Arts (ELA)/Literacy and Mathematics Assessments. 5th graders will also take the Hawai’i State Science Assessments. The testing dates are as follows:
Grade 3 Testing Schedule: April 1, 2, 10, 11; May 6, 7
Grade 4 Testing Schedule : April 3, 4, 24, 25; May 8. 9
Grade 5 Testing Schedule: April 8, 9, 16, 17, & 30; May 13, 14.
(Subject to change without notice)
Please update your calendar to help to make sure your child is in school on all their testing dates (and non-testing dates! Thank you for your support on this matter!
