Likelike Elementary School’s ELL Program 

Students with limited English language proficiency require support and targeted instruction. The Department provides these students with supplementary instructional and acculturation activities.

Welcome back!  Two important happenings from ELL!

1)  The ACCESS Window is from January 19-February 26 so unfortunately, you will not have your ELL Staff during the testing window as we will be working to test all of our students.  **One change: This year each grade level except 4th and 5th must be tested individually by tier.**  Lilia will be passing out your ELL student lists by Tier along with the schedule today.  We will try to get testing done as quick as we can.

2)  Title 3 ELL tutoring will begin on January 25.  Please send the forms home with the labeled students.  They are due back to Cherisse by January 15, but please put them in our box as you get them.  We are offering it to ELL students with the goal to make gains and progress in helping our students to exit ELL.  Classes will run on Mondays and Fridays from 2:30-3:30 and grades 3, 4, and 5 will also have class on Tuesday to participate in the Think Through Math program.
